Pay-TV also remains one of the main elements of telecommunications packages offered to consumers. The latter, however, increasingly use non-linear services. The importance of VOD is growing, and OTT providers are trying to carve out more and more of this pie for themselves. In one form or another, each of the players on the market tries to have a VOD. For some, it is a way to diversify the offer, while for others, it is the basic activity. The fact is that in the case of large websites the content is of key importance for consumers. Here, the biggest global players show their strength: they are steadily increasing their presence on the Polish market, acquiring customers both directly and by selling their services through the operator channel. Nevertheless, the leaders of the pay-TV market in Poland remain digital platforms: the Cyfrowy Polsat Group, which additionally invests the most in its own infrastructure, as well as nc+ and the largest cable TV network in Poland - UPC".
