Civil engineering construction and assembly output (PLN, bn) in Poland, 2013-2017

About this statistic:

Based on preliminary data, we estimate that the segment of the Polish civil engineering construction in 2016 was worth around PLN 40bn (€9.2bn). In nominal terms, it represented a decline of around 15%. The poor performance of the sector was largely due to a slowdown in the public procurement market (driven by the local authorities and state-owned companies) and a delayed start of numerous largescale road projects which had been contracted out in the past. Forecasts till 2022 are available in PMR products.
